Every year, the Innovation Challenge program showcases the power and creativity of diverse developer teams building AI solutions using Azure. The November 2025 hackathon saw over 300 participants tackling real-world use cases and delivering 76 projects leveraging Microsoft’s AI and cloud technologies.
Hackathon Focus Areas
Teams were asked to solve practical problems using Azure AI capabilities:
- Auto-resolve Service Desk: Multi-agent AI service desk to reduce wait times and automate ticket handling.
- Civic Chat: Civic engagement platforms for accessible government info, personalized updates, and community discussion—all powered by Azure AI services.
- Customer Personalization Orchestrator: AI-driven systems to segment users, automate content creation, and orchestrate A/B testing with built-in safety measures.

First Place ($10,000):
- AgroHelpdesk: Intelligent agribusiness service desk using a coordinated set of AI agents and automation.
Second Place ($5,000):
